     Cancer season, which runs from June 20 through July 21, is a season of heightened feeling, heightened imagination, and hyper-inhibition. During this time of year, you are encouraged to be more compassionate, more intuitive, more sensitive to the thoughts / words / actions of others, annnnd more nurturing. But this time of year isn’t your regular, every month zodiac season shift. Oh no, Cancer season is much more than that; it's a major cosmic event.

     The Solstice, which coincides with the Sun’s entrance into Cancer, heralds the official start of summer in the Northern Hemisphere and winter in the Southern Hemisphere. The entry of the Sun into Cancer during the solstice emphasizes the importance of emotional connections, family, and nurturing. It’s a time of renewal and enlightenment.
