What: 2025 Pisces Season
When: Feb. 18 - March 20, 2025
Who’s impacted: EVERYONE, but esp. Pisces, Virgo, Aries, Cancer
Takeaway: Emotional, reflective, and chock full of retrogrades, 2025 Pisces season is anything but dreamy and intuitive…
Welcome to Pisces Season, where logic takes a backseat and feelings drive the car without a license or Google Maps. Yep, 2025 Pisces Season has arrived, and like the rest of this year’s astrology, it has some MAJOR plot twists. Usually, Pisces Season, which runs Feb. 18 - March 20, is a season of many, many things. That’s largely why this time of year feels so exhausting: we’re so busying sifting through ALL the feelings, moods, worries, and wishes that rise to the surface and hide underwater, we don’t have much energy left. That doesn’t change this year.
The Sun in Pisces blurs boundaries, amplifies intuition, and makes reality feel more like a suggestion than a rule. That’s doubly true this time around, thanks to Neptune and the North Node in Pisces. Neptune in Pisces has been blurring reality since 2014, but the North Node? Since Jan. 11, it’s been increasing the potential for chaos—as well as our collective need for escape due to emotional overwhelm—tenfold. So, your imagination is your escape pod during the next 30-ish days. Any time you feel like the world is too much (which—if we’re being real—will probably be everyday) or your emotions are too much, notice how your imagination kicks in, painting fanciful pictures where things aren’t chaotic and everyone is happy…
Pisces season is supposed to be dreamy, but it often drifts into such delulu territory. Especially when the going gets tough. And this Pisces season? Well… With Venus retrograde in Aries, Mercury retrograde in Aries, and Mars finally stationing direct in Cancer, we’re navigating a rip current of nostalgia, reassessment, and deep emotional reckonings. Oh, and did I mention Eclipse Season starts mid-March? Yeah. We’re in for a ride. Expect your moods to shift faster than a Mercury retrograde, your dreams to get eerily vivid, and your energy levels to fluctuate between “I am a divinely gifted creatrix” and “I need a 6-hour nap.”
So, no: 2025 Pisces season isn’t just about floating in a sea of emotions and dreams. Nor is it just about burying your head in the sand until things “get better”. 2025 Pisces season is packed with major transits that could shake things up in love, career, and personal growth, making it a key time of year to face reality—not run from it. Now, the February portion of Pisces season—which is about 12 days long—is fairly supportive: As mentioned, Mars stations direct in Cancer on Feb. 23, which is good news for motivation and sluggish energy, and the New Moon in Pisces on Feb. 27 offers a fresh start, but then we enter March.
Venus stations retrograde in Aries on March 1, where it remains until April 12. Mercury enters Aries (March 3), only to station retrograde on March 14. AND eclipse season begins on March 13, with a Virgo Lunar Eclipse that is almost certainly going to echo themes of restriction, limitations, and regulations (thanks to an opposition to Saturn). Neptune, the planet of illusion (and collective health concerns) enters the Anaretic 29th degree of Pisces on March 4, putting us all in a bit of a crisis-mode that will probably make us want to bury our heads in the sand. Again. So, yeah: 2025 Pisces season isn’t just a dreamy swim through your feelings—it’s a riptide of reality checks, curveballs, and long-overdue awakenings.
