In the words of 1999 Jennifer Lopez, “Let’s get loud, let’s get loud!” Because this week brings some annoying (maybe tense) astrology, including a very in-your-face Aries full moon, all of which beckons you to get loud about the things that are upsetting, annoying, and/or important to you. So, you’re probably saying, “Ohhhh, it’s that kind of week, huh?” And yes, you’d be right: it’s a full moon kind of week, one where the emotions are heightened and the cosmic drama is so spicy, you almost forget your inbox is overflowing with unread emails. We’ve got a little bit of everything—optimism, surprise plot twists, emotional roller coasters, and some good ol’ fiery full moon action. Basically, it’s the astrological equivalent of your favorite reality show, except YOU’RE the star. (Congrats, by the way.)
Expect to feel like you’re on the verge of a personal breakthrough one minute, and then frantically Googling, “Why am I so emotionally unstable during a Full Moon?” the next. But don’t worry, I’m here to spill all the celestial tea and guide you through the ups, downs, and everything in between. Spoiler: By the end of the week, you’re going to feel ready to take on the world (or at least finally delete those old texts). Anyway, that’s the gist of this week. Here’s the actual astrology:
Oct. 14 – Sun in Libra trines Jupiter Rx in Gemini, 21°
Oct. 14 – Sun squares Mars in Cancer
Oct. 14 – Venus in Scorpio opposes Uranus Rx in Taurus, 26°
Oct. 15 – Venus in Scorpio trines Neptune Rx in Pisces, 27°
Oct. 17 – Full Moon in Aries, 24°
Oct. 17 – Venus in Scorpio sextiles Pluto in Capricorn, 29°
Oct. 17 – Venus enters Sagittarius
Oct. 14 – Sun in Libra trine Jupiter Rx in Gemini, 21°
Ok, technically this lovely little trine happens on Oct. 13, but it’s so close to midnight, we’re counting it for Monday. (Plus, I really want it to be part of this week because it's just so dang optimistic.) This high-vibing Sun-Jupiter trine is all about optimism, expansion, and finding opportunities through other people. You could easily charm your way into something fabulous—or at least get a really good networking connection. But don’t go launching into anything new just yet—remember, Jupiter is retrograde, so the best moves are the ones you’ve already rehearsed. Tap into old ideas, past connections, or revisit a creative project that didn’t pan out the first time. This is the week to make it shine. Text that person you’ve been meaning to follow up with—they may have an opportunity for you…
Oct. 14 – Sun in Libra squares Mars in Cancer, 21°
Mars in Cancer is kinda like a crab wielding a sword—emotional but ready to fight. This square might stir up some tension, some irritability, and a little yearning desire to stand up for yourself and clap back. Squares can provoke you, make you feel defensive; and when the square involves Libra and Cancer, two signs not known for their direct approach, things could also get a little passive-aggressive. Try not to let small annoyances blow up into full-blown conflicts. Take a deep breath before you lash out—and maybe avoid that emotionally-charged conversation for another day…
Oct. 14 – Venus opposite Uranus Rx, 26°
If you’ve been feeling too comfortable in your relationships or financial situation (lol, who even is that?), Venus opposite Uranus will flip the script real fast. Uranus doesn’t care about your comfort zone. Expect emotional curveballs and surprise changes—anything from a sudden argument to an unexpected expense. But hey, you needed to shake things up anyway, right? Venus in Scorpio is deep, intense, and very into control; Uranus is… not. This aspect says: stop trying to micromanage everything. Loosen the reins and let life surprise you. (Just be sure you’ve got some tissues and a backup credit card, because it could get dramatic.) Expect the unexpected. Roll with the punches—literally and figuratively. Don’t cling to control or predictability; let life (and love) surprise you.

Oct. 15 – Venus in Scorpio trine Neptune Rx in Pisces, 27°
This Venus-Neptune trine is like the calm after a storm—a welcome reprieve from Monday’s emotional chaos. Venus and Neptune both in water signs? It’s dreamland. Romance is definitely in the air, and you’re more prone to fantasizing about perfect love or dreamy financial success. And while it’s great to indulge in a little escapism, don’t get so carried away in your daydreams that you forget reality exists. This aspect is super creative, so if you’re an artist, writer, or even someone who just likes to daydream at your desk, today is your day to let those visions flow. Yes, use this energy to dream big, but keep one foot grounded in reality, so you don’t lose sight of what’s actually doable.

Oct. 17 – Full Moon in Aries, 24°
The Full Moon in Aries is all about independence, boldness, and reclaiming your power. But it’s not all fiery confidence and courage—this full moon comes with a couple of unfriendly squares. Mars in Cancer squares the moon, which means there’s some passive-aggressive energy lurking; Pluto in Capricorn also squares the moon, which brings out the intensity (and maybe some power struggles). All of this could leave you feeling fired up but unsure of what to do with all that pent-up frustration. You might want to scream at someone or rage-quit your job (I mean, no judgment if you do), but it’s probably not the best time to act out. Chiron in Aries is also conjunct this Full Moon, which means any anger or resentment you feel could lead to healing and self-discovery... if you let it. It’s time to release what’s holding you back—whether it’s an outdated belief, a bad habit, or a toxic relationship.

Oct. 17 – Venus in Scorpio sextile Pluto in Capricorn, 29°
This Venus-Pluto sextile is like the ultimate power move for your love life or finances. You’re feeling deep, intense, and super focused on transformation. Whether it’s a relationship that’s ready for a serious upgrade or a financial situation that’s ripe for a revamp, this aspect gives you the strength and clarity to make it happen. But since it’s Pluto, we’re talking about real change—the kind that gets to the core of the matter. Surface-level fixes won’t cut it here. You want the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, even if it’s uncomfortable. Embrace it. If something needs to change, you have the power to make it happen…

Oct. 17 – Venus enters Sagittarius
After all that Scorpio drama, Venus is ready to spread her wings and fly. Venus in Sagittarius brings fun, freedom, and a whole lot of “I need space” energy to relationships and finances. If things have felt heavy or intense, this transit lightens the mood and says, “Let’s go on an adventure!” So, say yes to new experiences—whether that’s dating someone outside your usual type or trying a new investment strategy (crypto, anyone?). The point is: Don’t be afraid to switch things up, and stop taking it all so seriously…
