When: May 12 - 24; Sept. 2 - 14, 2025

TL;DR: with the planet of limits and lessons entering the critical degree of the delusional water sign, it’s reckoning time for wishy-washy plans and accountability evasion.
Passivity, procrastination, and emotional indecision are officially on notice. On May 12, Saturn enters the critical, 29th degree of Pisces, marking a major turning point for your growth, maturity, and long-term ambitions. As the planet of tough love and reality checks starts swimming its final lap in Pisces’ murky, delusional waters, it brings a now-or-never moment for making soul-level decisions. Should you quit? Should you break up? Should you burn it all to the ground and start from scratch? And what about that dream you’ve been daydreaming but not doing anything about? Or the purpose you’ve yet to find, and the goal you keep swearing you’ll prioritize? Well, with Saturn in the anaretic degree of Pisces, it’s the moment of truth, the turning point.
Similar to the anaretic Neptune transit, Saturn’s shift into the 29th degree of Pisces marks a personal and collective period of crisis, reckoning, and (much-needed?) reality checks. The emotional fog is lifting, and the go-with-flow strategy for everything—from your boundaries and limits, to your ambitions—is in need of a wake-up call. That doesn’t mean the deep denialists will wake up from the delusional dreamspell they’ve willingly put themselves under. (Mostly because astrology doesn’t make anyone do anything; it just mirrors what we’ve chosen.) Instead, it brings the urge for a sobering sanity check. Saturn in the anaretic degree of Pisces says: No more floating. Pick a lane and start swimming.
Chances are, you’re already feeling the beginning stages of this internal crisis: the omnipresent feeling of doubt about and indecision for your current path; the dwindling interest in the spiritual, creative, or ~dreamier~ pursuits; an exhaustion surrounding your goals because of the limits and restrictions you’ve had to impose on them. Might anaretic Saturn coincide with an existential crisis for law, order, and limits on authority on the world’s stage? Absolutely. Might it also mark a moment of reckoning for collective delusion? God, I hope so. (But also, please God don’t make me a part of the reckoning 🤞.)
