We start this week on a serious note, only to end it on a much wilder, crazier, and louder note. But before we get into that, I want to talk briefly about 2025 because it’s a doozy. In just a few short months, we’ll experience some seismic shifts as major planets begin moving into new signs, nesting in that new, fresh 0°. New cycles are coming, and they won’t look like the past decade. If you want to get ahead of this astrology, I highly recommend checking out my 2025 Chart Reading, upcoming 2025 Astrology Workshop and Ultimate 2025 Astrology Guide. These are resources designed to help YOU work with next year’s game-changing astrology. Anyway!
Monday brings a sobering shift from Venus. The planet of love and money enters Capricorn, which gives a serious tone to the week overall. Then, Mercury squares Saturn Rx, and Saturn stations direct. All of these might have you feeling like the fun and games are over, and it’s time to get to work. Or you have a brief, but resounding realization that it’s high-time you stop goofing around and wisen up. This may sound bad or boring, but I actually like this astrology. It helps rein us in before we face the wild full moon in Taurus on Friday.
Yes, this is a wild full moon that’s conjoining Uranus Rx, and it promises nothing if not a few shake-ups—either in finance, tech, or both. The good news: Venus (the Moon’s ruler) is in stabilizing & stoic Capricorn; and Saturn (Capricorn’s ruling planet), stations direct in Pisces on Friday. All of this should help to reel in some of the crazy. I say crazy, because Uranus is the planet of crazy—as in, “I’m feeling crazy restless and I want to revolt!” Also, Venus is about to square the nodes, which are points where eclipses happen that can also stir up some craziness (especially around money, relationships, equality, and justice).
Because Uranus is the planet of liberation, a lover of shock, awe, and disruption with the aim of updating the outdated systems. Uranus is unpredictable and brings all things unexpected to your front door. Hence my copious use of the word wild in this weekly forecast. Full moons are already wild. Emotions are heightened, people get keyed up and a little frenzied (if not frantic). So, when you add Uranus, the agitator / disruptor / and purveyor of chaotic unrest, into the mix…Well, that wildness doubles. Not just on the full moon, but also on Saturday, when the Sun and Uranus come face to face.
But sometimes being wild is a necessary thing. Otherwise we remain stagnant and stuck in the past. So this full moon is both a rallying cry against stagnation and for forward progress. It’s also marking a peak moment for security, finance, stability, and values—both yours and those of the collective. In the days leading up to Friday, we may feel like we’re being pitted against one another. Things may feel wild, or there might be some sudden / shocking / surprising / chaotic news that stretches us out of our comfort zones, but all of this is potentially helping us to start loosening our grip on all that’s outdated. This full moon is getting us ready for what’s next.
So, if this week feels like it’s urging you to leave behind outdated patterns or beliefs, or if it’s kicking up chaos to push you toward a breakthrough, or rattling your cage in relationships and/or money, remember: it’s probably because you need to be shaken up and awakened to the things grabbing your attention. This week’s energy may feel like a personal rallying cry, but it’s really a warm-up for the collective changes we’re all going to experience as 2025 unfolds. That’s not to instill fear or foreboding. Rather, we’re about to be ushered into a new era, and there’s no going back. So let’s take mindful stock of where we are right now—what we’ve grown and built thus far—so that we can better prepare for where we are heading. Anyway, that’s the gist, here’s the actual astrology:
Nov. 11 – Venus enters Capricorn
Nov. 12 – Mercury in Sagittarius squares Saturn Rx in Pisces, 12°
Nov. 15 – Saturn stations direct in Pisces, 12°
Nov. 15 – Taurus Full Moon, 24°
Nov. 16 / 17 – Sun in Scorpio opposes Uranus Rx in Taurus, 25°
Nov. 16 – Venus in Capricorn squares the Nodes
Nov. 11 – Venus enters Capricorn
While on the surface it would seem that Venus in Capricorn is one blah of a planetary transit—because Venus is the planet of love, luxury and pleasure-seeking, and Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, the planet of discipline, limitations and sacrifice—this isn’t the case. In Capricorn, Venus finds the focus to commit to its sensuous desires, to give form to its creative musings, and to save its money. In short, this transit more than any other brings practicality, ambition, and a sense of responsibility in your approach to love, beauty, and money…

Nov. 12 – Mercury squares Saturn Rx, 12°
Mental frustration / tension, or a cold, hard no from an editor. This is an astrology signature of harsh criticism, of receiving an email / text / letter from someone saying, “thanks, but no thanks.” It’s momentarily limiting and/or mentally dampening, but it helps us in seeing that maybe there’s a different path to take than the one we were denied. It also brings necessary structure or realism to an otherwise improbable idea. This is the second of three times this transit happens, as Mercury stations retrograde on Nov. 25, so pay attention to the “no” that comes up and where it might be redirecting you…

Nov. 15 – Full Moon in Taurus
This is a wild Taurus Full Moon that’s bound to stir up all things money, stability, and emotional security. Why? Uranus conjoins this full moon, moving towards an exact albeit destabilizing opposition to the Sun on Nov. 16 (which I’ll talk more about below). Full Moons mark peak moments, but they also illuminate what’s been brewing under the surface; and in Taurus, this lunation could bring up unexpected surprises (personally, collectively, financially) that shake us out of whatever ruts we’ve been in. Try not to look at this astrology as being “good” or “bad;” it just is…
Nov. 15 – Saturn stations Direct in Pisces, 12°
Saturn direct brings forward momentum to any long-standing life (or societal) lessons you’ve been wrangling with since March 2023. If you've been feeling blocked in some area, Saturn’s forward motion might be just what you need to make progress—at last. Think of this as once cog in the wheel getting unblocked. There are a few other planets still retrograde—Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune—with Mars & Mercury knee-deep in their pre-retrograde shadows, so things aren’t spedding along, but. Saturn direct does help to get us thinking more realistically about our boundaries, limitations, and responsibilities…

Nov. 16 - Sun opposite Uranus Rx, 25°
If Friday’s full moon is for liberation, for getting a little wild about our values, and for releasing what’s outdated, then Saturday’s Sun-Uranus opposition is about the destabilizing effects of that wildness. Friday / Saturday are loud. They are agitating and potentially unsettling. But here’s the thing: underneath any perceived instability and/or wildness is actually a solid core of stability brought by the signs Scorpio & Taurus. These are fixed signs, and fixed signs dig in. They are resolute, unyielding, and sustaining. This opposition begs the question: how do we satisfy our need for progress and change while remaining fixed in who we already are?
