Before we go any further, let’s set the record straight: I don’t believe in fate, and I don’t think astrology is about fate either. Astrology is a tool—a really cool, ancient, sometimes frustrating tool—that helps us understand the energies at play in our lives. Whether in your chart or in a Venus Retrograde horoscope, the planets don’t make things happen; they reflect what is already happening and what could happen, depending on the choices we make. The choice is always ours. Free will is always in play.

Anyway, I’m Camille, aka Cosmic Cannibal—a Gemini Sun, Pisces Moon, Leo Rising author, astrologer, and occasional cosmic comic.

I’ve been interpreting charts and writing horoscopes for over a decade, and my background in Journalism and English Lit means I specialize in research, pattern recognition, and storytelling. As a Gemini, I thoroughly enjoy translating astrology into something you can 1) understand, so that you can 2) work with it, and 3) actually use it. (And because of my Pisces Moon and Leo Rising, I loooove digging deep and searching for meaning, but I will also inevitably talk about myself and/or my hair.)
