Cosmic Weather Forecast: 2025 Virgo Season
Time to nerd out, fine-tune your life, and sharpen the focus
What: Virgo Season
When: Aug. 22 - Sept. 22, 2025
Who’s Impacted: EVERYONE, but esp. Virgo, Leo, Pisces, Gemini, annnnd Libra
TL;DR: With the Sun in the meticulous mutable earth sign, it’s shining a light on the nitty gritty details and helping you nerd out about what is and isn’t working. Not, as capitalism would have you think, so you can do more, more, more—but so that you can streamline the systems and routines that aren’t of service to your life.
I wrote about Virgo’s commitment to service in my Virgo New Moon Forecast, but it bears repeating. Because the mutable earth sign, which has so often been painted as a finicky, fault-finding vessel of nervous tension, loves to serve and be of use. This is a facet of the zodiac sign I explore in my ebook, Virgo: The Utility; and as the title suggests, Virgo is utilitarian in the purest sense: the sign craves usefulness and functionality. Virgo wants to use its talents in practical, unfussy ways to help an industry, art form, or cause run just a little bit smoother. In the absence of a high-functioning system to which it can devote its critical analytical prowess, Virgo will design one. And if a system isn’t functioning well, if it isn’t serving the work—or worse: if it’s wasting time or resources—Virgo will run a diagnostic test to find and fix the problem.
That is how I encourage you to work with 2025 Virgo Season: to give your life a thorough examination, figure out what’s hindering a streamlined workflow, and get things functioning again. Because 2025 Virgo Season is bookended by two Virgo new moons, one of which is a Solar Eclipse that is near the South Node and opposing Saturn Rx. So, an audit is inevitable, but it’s smart to start the inspection sooner rather than later. With the South Node moving through Virgo, we’re already scrutinizing and clearing away certain Virgo tendencies—we just want to make sure we’re not letting go of the helpful ones that keep the machine operating. And if there isn’t a system in place, if your work life, creative life, financial life or love life feel like they are in total disarray, this is the season to get organized and actually get things functioning again.
Because in the trajectory of the astrological seasons, Virgo is the zodiac’s meticulous manager, stepping in to clean up the mess Leo Season’s astrology left behind. So, the next 30 days put an extra emphasis on efficiency, productivity, and fine-tuning what feels a little lefty-loosy in your life. Whether it’s your health, career, creativity, or love life, Virgo season is the time to take stock, assess the damage, put things back in order and get real. Now’s the time to harvest the lessons learned, clarify the confusion, and get back to a more balanced, productive groove. There’s something oddly satisfying about watching everything fall into place…
✨ Virgo season isn’t about grinding harder, it’s about getting real with your ambition and direction. Book a chart reading with me, and I’ll unpack what in your life needs refining, what needs to be released, and what to expect during eclipse season.
Of course, the next 30 days have its fair share of astrological blessings, burdens, and crosses to bear. Mercury finally leaves Leo, but outer planet Uranus stations retrograde, pulling focus to the Gemini part of your life & chart. Then, Saturn Retrograde enters Pisces for the last time in about 30 years, eclipse season begins, and…Well, you know what? I’m getting ahead of myself. Without further ado:
Your Cosmic Weather Forecast for 2025 Virgo Season
Aug. 22/23 - Virgo New Moon, pt. 1. This new moon wants you to set your intentions with precision. Uranus in Gemini is squaring the lunation, creating a cocktail of frenetic yet confusing energy and a restless urge to break free. You might feel scattered or uncertain of which direction to head in, but that’s okay—focus the wildness on a liberating new moon goal. The key is flexibility: Virgo craves order, but Uranus wants innovation. If you can balance practicality with experimentation, you can set intentions that actually stick…
Aug. 25 – Venus enters Leo and all things love, relating and creating get feisty. Venus in Leo is about bold, unapologetic self-expression in love and art—you want to be adored and applauded, not just appreciated. Venus trines Saturn Rx in Aries the same day, grounding that fiery energy and helping you define what is truly worth your time and heart (and what isn’t). The next day (Aug. 26), Venus trines Neptune Rx in Aries, stirring dreamy, idealistic vibes—think romance with rose-colored glasses. That same day, a sextile from Uranus in Gemini adds a spark of excitement, pushing you to experiment with your relationships, money, or style. Finally, Venus opposes Pluto Rx in Aquarius on Aug. 26, digging deep into the power dynamics of love, desire, and creativity. Expect breakthroughs in intimacy—or dramatic showdowns that force you to choose authenticity over control…
