Uranus has re-entered Taurus

TL;DR: with the planet of upheaval, shock and awe re-entering the change-resistant earth sign, stability and stagnation are about to get struck by lightning, as we are given one last shot to make some seriously significant pivots.

Ready for another radical reorganization of your life? Yeah, me neither—but from Nov. 7 to April 25, 2026, Uranus once again charges through Taurus, where it will most certainly see us mooing about our shifting pastures whether we like it or not. Uranus’ return to Taurus is MAJOR for a lot of reasons. For one, this is the last time the rabble rouser planet will transit the stable and cautious earth sign until 2102—which means secondly, this is your last shot to not only make a seriously significant (personal) pivot, but also wrap up the story of radical reinvention that started way back in May 2018, when Uranus first entered Taurus.

Since then, the past seven years have seen you, me, and everyone else learning to innovate and update what has grown outdated, obsolete, or just plain boring in our lives. Sure, the innovations may have felt more like re-awakenings—ah-ha moments of sudden inspiration or clarity—and the updates may have seemed more like curveballs of upheaval the universe threw at you just to see what would happen, but the good news is we’re not starting all of that over. So, I don’t want you to freak out. Nor do I want you to feel as though massive, sweeping change is being thrust upon you without your consent and there’s absolutely nothing you can do about it. Because that’s far from the truth of this transit.

Basically, from now until April 2026, Uranus is wrapping up a storyline of ups, downs, shifts and shake-ups that began in the Taurus part of your life in 2018. This final stint of the Great Awakener in the steady earth sign signals a last call for liberation and radical moves. You know the ones I’m talking about—truly, only you know the radical moves you are being called to make because they feel liberating, if not a little scary, to you. (Not me or your mom, but to you.) Well, with Uranus backtracking through the final degrees of Taurus, it’s your chance to finally make those emancipating pivots.

2025-26 Uranus in Taurus for YOU

I’ve written extensively about Uranus in Taurus: from this 2025 Uranus Retrograde horoscope, which explores what changes you’re reflecting on and returning to; and this Uranus in Crisis horoscope, which is all about Uranus at the 29th degree; to this OG Uranus in Taurus Horoscope post and Uranus Direct Horoscopes. All of these cover, to a certain extent, the impact this transit has had on the systems and values of the collective. So, I’m not going to talk about Uranus in Taurus for the collective. (The hyperlinks are there for a reason, bb.) Instead, I want to focus on what this once-in-84-year transit means for you and your life right now.

If you’ve already made massive, sweeping changes and you’ve loved every minute of it, you’ll just be returning to check-in with those changes (since we briefly put them down in July, when Uranus entered Gemini). However, if you haven’t made a few drastic-but-necessary shifts, or you’ve resisted them with all your might, then this final lap of Uranus in Taurus could align with one or two destabilizing WTF moments. Of course, they’ll vary in size, scope and personal significance, as it depends on: a) whether you have any Taurus or other fixed sign placements (Scorpio, Leo, Aquarius) between 27-29°, and b) your natal Venus sign, because Venus rules the Taurus house in your chart, thereby dictating how comfortable you are with change.

Me? Though I’m a Gemini and I allegedly thrive on change, my Leo stellium, fixed sign dominance, and 29° Cancer Venus would say otherwise. Both a lover of comfort and a headstrong diva, I’ve been more than resistant to the career disruptions Uranus in Taurus has thrown my way with since 2018. There have been more (metaphorical) zaps, bitch slaps, thunderclaps, and restlessness than there were Eureka! moments, that’s for sure. (Pssst. This might also be the case for you. You may have experienced—or resisted—abrupt changes in your finances or relationships, which forced you to start from scratch; or maybe you weathered multiple personal storms that upended your identity, or endured family plot twists that flipped your life 180° and left you too dizzy to know where you stood or where to go next. That’s all par for the course of any Uranus transit. Uranus is the planet of pivots, WTF moments, and 180° flips. Uranus craves disruption, revolution and upheaval, though it’s not—as we might think—to punish us. No, these radical changes are meant as a wake-up call.
