Oooook. This transit has been hyped, teased, and talked about aplenty—but now, it’s actually here. Pluto, the planet of transformation, regeneration and (ahem) annihilation, has entered progressive Aquarius, where it will remain for two decades. Yes, you read that right: Pluto is surfing through the constellation Aquarius’ from now until May 2043. Now, Pluto does make a quick retrograde pitstop back into Capricorn from Sept. 2 thru Nov. 19—which is just in time for the next presidential election, if you’re tracking—but otherwise, the planet of massive shifts is making this Aquarian shift for a looooong time.
I’ve already covered what you can expect from Pluto in Aquarius on a societal, cultural level in this episode of the Cosmic Cannibal Podcast (#shamelessplug), but what about YOU? What does Pluto in Aquarius mean for you this year and the next 20 freaking years it moves through the fixed air sign? What does it mean for your Rising sign & birth chart, and your entire LIFE??
I’m about to get into that!
However, I want to add this side note: Yes, Pluto in Aquarius is a big deal for ALL of us, and it is undoubtedly going to usher in some MAJOR changes; but the majority of these changes will likely take place on the collective level. So, please don’t freak out and/or get your hopes up about any massive, sudden, electric-shock-like changes happening for YOU overnight. Outer planet transits like Pluto don’t work that way. Sure, the transit will usher in changes for YOU as an Individual, but these changes are often a reflection of the changes happening in society as a result of the outer planet. And the nature of these changes depend on aspects being made by Pluto to the planets/placements in your chart.
Confused? Don’t be. Still slightly anxious and on the verge of freaking out? There’s no need. The following horoscopes are giving you a glimpse into what shifts, changes, metamorphoses, and transformations YOU can expect from Pluto in Aquarius over the next 20 years. So, without further ado:
